A few things I’ve learned from massaging faces.

A few things I’ve learned from massaging faces for the better half of the last decade

Over the years, massaging countless faces has taught me something deeply meaningful: we hold so much tension in our bodies and faces—far more than we realize.

Most of us don’t notice it until it starts to show up as fine lines, wrinkles, or that tight feeling in our jaws and brows. For many, it’s only during a massage or facial that the weight of this tension becomes clear. That’s when I often feel like I’m actively helping you let go—sometimes it comes out as a deep sigh, a grunt, or even a little release of air.

This release is part of the process. It’s part of the healing. When you let go of the negative, you create space for something better: peace, balance, and radiance.

When you come in for a facial, we’re doing so much more than addressing the surface. We’re tapping into your parasympathetic nervous system—your rest and digest mode, your true healing state. In this state, your body can truly unwind, heal, and restore.

You might notice stomach rumbles, a deep sense of calm, or even find yourself drifting off to sleep. And trust me when I say this: I love hearing a snore or a stomach growl. These are the signs that your body is embracing the full benefits of this time. As I always say, snoring is the highest applause! So no more apologizing—this is your moment to relax, let go, and simply be.

Facial massage isn’t just about making your skin glow—it’s about helping you feel better inside your skin. When you release tension, suppressed emotions, and stress, you create space for more joy and balance. This healing starts from within, and it shows on the outside.

Your self-care matters. By making time for monthly facials, incorporating a relaxing skincare ritual, or simply tuning into your emotions, you’re building resilience and nurturing your inner peace.

I’m here to help you unwind and release what no longer serves you, and rediscover your natural radiance. Your next session is waiting—it’s time to let go and glow.

With care and gratitude
Rebekah
